The Cardiothoracic Surgery Department in Sooriya Hospital is headed by Dr. Vishwakumar, MS.,MCH., who has performed many surgeries related to Congenital Heart Disease, Valvular Dieases, Coronary Bypass Surgeries and Lung Surgeries. This department is also equipped with state of the art Coronary Angiogram Unit that runs round the clock. Heart care, including invasive and non invasive cardiology and Coronary care unit, is fully equipped to deal with cardiac emergencies. The modern Colour Doppler facility for both cardiac imaging and vascular imaging, 24 hours ECG, emergency pacing services are available at all times.
