THE DEPARTMENT OF NEUROLOGY is headed by
PROF. Dr. U. MEENAKSHISUNDARAM MD. DM.
It is equipped with state-of-the-art electro diagnostic facilities including digital EEG, brain mapping, Nerve Conduction Studies, Evoked potentials and autonomic function studies. The department has an acute stroke care unit and has special interest in Parkinson disease, movement disorders and Botilium toxin injection.
Neuro Laboratory:
Neuro Lab is well equipped with the modern technology to meet the requirements of the patients. The electro diagnostic procedures are well assisted by the technologist. Several tests which are being conducted are:
