Information to Consultants who refer patients to this centre for CF workup

Sweat Chloride Analysis is done only for patients above 6 months of age.
- If sweat chloride levels are elevated more than 60 m eq/lt, Please repeat the test after 1 week. Two positive tests confirm the diagnosis of Cystic Fibrosis.
- Mutation Analysis is done only for 24 common mutations. Charges:
- Sweat Chloride Analysis Rs.500/ each test
- Mutation Analysis Rs.9000/-
- The centre will manage Cystic Fibrosis with Patient education, Dietary advice and Medical Treatment
