Dr.Umapathy graduated from Stanley Medical College, Chennai and D.D (Dematology) from Madras Medical College, other specialty courses from Annamalai University. He got fellowship in chest physician and completed special training in HIV Management, conducted by Tamilnadu MGR Medical University, Chennai. He has more than 15 years of experience, 12 years as a private practioner, 4 years in Government Service.He is interested on Cosmetological Procedures.

In Sooriya Hospital, he is working as a Consultant Dermatologist, available at 7 pm – 8 pm, all days from Monday to Saturday.
