Heads the Department of Respiratory Medicine at Sooriya Hospital, Chennai. He has more than 20 years experience in Respiratory medicine and he is involved in various academic activities at national and regional levels.
He is active member in Indian Chest Society, American Thoracic Society and Indian Medical Association.
He is one of the member of Cystic Fibrosis working group in India and he is one of the pioneers in Cystic Fibrosis work in India. He has rich experience in research and is currently involved in active research in pulmonary medicine.
He is a visiting fellow of Johns Hopkins Medical School, Baltimore, Merryland, USA and Department of Medicine, University of Chicago, Chicago, USA.
