The department is headed by Dr. (Mrs.) Sooriyakala Sreekumar MD., DGO, FRCOG (UK). This department provides round the clock service, where health care is provided with a personal touch. A Well Woman Package offers a comprehensive screening which includes abdominal and pelvic ultrasound scan, pap smear and breast examination. A PMB (Post Menopausal Bleeding) evaluation clinic and Colposcopy clinic for early detection of cancer of the womb is ongoing.

Patients can avail of an exclusive maternity ward with modern and well- equipped labor suites including super deluxe and deluxe rooms. We care for women who are High risk in their antenatal period and also accept in- utero transfers. With the availability of our specilaised high-tech Neonatal Intensive Care Unit we are able to handle preterm and sick babies as small as 600 grams with good outcome. We offer round the clock services for women with early pregnancy problems which is complimented with an efficient ultrasound facility and blood bank services.

Parent craft – a concept introduced by Dr. Sooriyakala to actively involve the participation of not only the expectant mothers’ but their partners - meets on regular basis which deals with baby’s development, healthy diet during pregnancy, coping with labor pain etc. Antenatal and Postnatal Yoga classes are conducted on a daily basis. We have a dedicated in house YOGA teacher – Mrs Bhuvana B.A., PG Dip in Yoga & Naturopathy who conducts these classes in the Yoga/Meditation Hall away from the clinical area. These have proven to be very popular among patients.
